Kinetic View app
App Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026 · iPhone, iPad and Android
For the Kinetic View app on iPhone, iPad and Android. The Kinetic View Privacy Policy covers the web and all apps; the Terms of Service also apply.
1. Scope and contact
The Kinetic View app is operated by Best ROI Media LLC, 700 Louisiana St Ste 3950, Houston, TX 77002. This policy covers the Kinetic View app for iPhone and iPad (io.kineticview.admin) and for Android phones and tablets (io.kineticview.crm). The apps use the same account, company workspace and servers as Kinetic View on the web, so our main Privacy Policy also applies; this page adds what is specific to the apps.
Contact privacy@kineticview.io for privacy questions or data requests, or support@kineticview.io for account help. The company using the workspace controls its customer records and its team’s access.
2. Account and business information
Creating an account sends your name, work email, company name, optional business phone and password to our authentication service; passwords are stored only as hashes. We process account, company and subscription identifiers, setup settings, team and role details, scheduling availability, connection permissions and admin activity to provide and secure the workspace.
The app keeps a revocable sign-in token, never your password: in the Apple Keychain on iPhone and iPad (this device only, available when unlocked), and encrypted with an Android Keystore key on Android. Android app backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the app’s data.
3. Customer and project records
The app shows and edits the same CRM records as the web: customer names, phone numbers, email and property addresses, inquiries, appointments, messages, call records, notes, estimates, contracts, jobs, sales and payment amounts, costs, commissions, documents and attachments. Records are stored on our servers, not in an offline database on your device, and are available to authorized users according to their role. Use only information your company is authorized to process, and do not upload payment-card details.
4. Photos, files and device permissions
When you add an attachment, the app uses the system photo or file picker, and only the items you choose are uploaded. On iPhone and iPad, the system upload sheet in the embedded workspace can also offer to take a photo or record a video, so the app may ask for camera, photo-library and microphone permission (microphone for a video’s sound) when you choose that option. On Android, the app uses the system file picker and requests no camera, microphone, contacts or location permission.
Neither app requests access to your device contacts or GPS location. Downloaded documents, previews and exports are kept in temporary app storage and offered through the system share sheet: iOS removes its temporary download folder when the workspace closes, and Android clears its cached files when you sign out. Copies you save or share elsewhere are under your control. Phone, email and directions actions pass the selected contact or address to the app you choose.
5. Embedded workspace
Some screens on iPhone and iPad open the Kinetic View web workspace inside the app. It uses a non-persistent web data store, so its cookies and cache are not kept after it closes. The Android app is fully native and does not embed the web workspace. If you open kineticview.io or the web app in a browser, the website’s cookie choices described in the Privacy Policy apply there.
6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
The iPhone and iPad app sells the company subscription as an Apple in-app purchase at $49.99/month, processed by Apple. The Android app sells it as a Google Play subscription at $49.99/month, processed by Google. One subscription covers the whole company, with unlimited users, on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android. Companies that subscribed on the web ($50/month through Stripe) see their status in the app and manage billing on the web.
Apple and Google handle your payment details; we never see your card number. The app links a purchase to your company with an anonymous account token, and our server verifies the purchase with Apple or Google to receive its status, renewal and expiry dates and transaction identifiers. Manage or cancel a store subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
7. Push notifications
On Android, Firebase may automatically create an app-installation identifier and process basic app and device technical information when the app starts, before you enable notification display. This supports notification delivery and is not used by Kinetic View for advertising or tracking. If you allow notifications, the app registers a device push token with Apple Push Notification service (iPhone and iPad) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) and sends it to our server with your user and company, the platform and the app version. We use it only to send you Kinetic View notifications, such as a lead, appointment or task assigned to you, a new customer text, an estimate the homeowner signed, a new-lead alert or a reminder that is due. Tapping a notification opens the matching screen.
Notification text is short and never includes message bodies or dollar amounts. Notifications may show a shortened customer name, appointment time, task type, job number or the last four digits of a phone number; delivery data also contains record identifiers and may contain a conversation phone number so a tap opens the correct screen. Apple or Google processes this information to deliver the notification. You can hide lock-screen notification previews in device settings. You can turn each category off in the app, or turn off notifications for Kinetic View in device settings. Signing out or turning notifications off removes the token from your account, and tokens that Apple or Google report as invalid are deleted. Apple and Google deliver notifications under their own privacy policies.
8. AI connections and the business brief
Guided setup uses forms and a review step, and Help searches published guides. These features do not send your questions or setup answers to an AI model. Applying setup requires an administrator’s explicit confirmation; opening a help guide does not change CRM records.
You can copy a setup brief or an MCP connection key to give to an AI assistant you choose; the app does not send it to an AI provider by itself. A key grants the permissions shown for that connection. On iPhone and iPad, a newly created key is hidden when you leave the screen or the app goes to the background, and copying it uses a local-only clipboard item that expires after two minutes. On Android, copied keys use the system clipboard, so clear it after connecting your assistant. Share keys only with an assistant you authorize, and revoke connections you no longer need. Optional AI features on the web are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Sign in with Google or Apple
Email and password always remain available. If you choose Google or Apple, the app opens the provider’s sign-in in the system browser (on iPhone and iPad, Apple’s secure web-authentication sheet). We receive a verified identity, email and name when supplied; Apple Hide My Email is supported. The app exchanges a short-lived, one-time code for its normal secure session. We do not request Gmail, Drive or contacts access. Deleting your account also revokes retained Apple authorization.
10. Analytics, advertising and tracking
The apps contain no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, do not access the advertising identifier (IDFA or Android advertising ID), and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Kinetic View shows no ads.
To improve onboarding, our servers (not the apps) send PostHog a few company-level milestone events, each at most once per company, such as email confirmed, first estimate created, first contract signed and subscription started or ended. They are identified only by a one-way hash of the company’s internal ID, are not linked to any person’s identity, and contain no names, contact details, addresses, customer or homeowner information, document contents or amounts. See the Privacy Policy for details.
11. Hosting, storage and security
Backend services run on Amazon Web Services (Amazon EC2), with CRM data on private Amazon RDS. Uploaded files and PDFs are stored privately in Cloudflare R2. Account and company emails are sent with Resend, and company texting uses the provider the company connects (SimpleTexting or Twilio). Connections are encrypted, and requests, errors, security events and admin changes may create technical and audit logs. No system can guarantee absolute security.
13. Account deletion and your choices
Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete anything. To delete your own login, tap your initials → Security → Delete account; it is deleted immediately after you confirm with your password or an emailed code. Your company keeps the business records you worked on, shown as “Former team member”.
An admin can delete the whole company, with all of its records, files and team logins, from Settings → Company → Delete company account (or Security → Delete company), after downloading its data. This is immediate and permanent. A web (Stripe) subscription is canceled automatically; an App Store or Google Play subscription must be turned off in the store first. Deleted data is removed from the live service immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days.
You can also email privacy@kineticview.io to request access, correction, export or deletion, or follow our public account-deletion page to delete without the app. We may verify identity and authority before acting.
14. Children and updates
The Kinetic View app is a business tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We may update this policy as the app changes; the new “Last updated” date will be shown here.
