Getting started

Set up your company from start to finish

A practical order for configuring your account, testing a complete customer journey, and bringing your team online.

Prepare the information you will need

Have your business name, contact details, operating timezone, team roster, lead sources, job types, and weekly appointment capacity ready. Agree on what each stage means before importing records. One person should own setup so competing edits do not create duplicate categories.

Configure the foundation

Use Settings to establish the shared lists before staff start recording work. These settings determine the choices available on leads, appointments, and jobs.

  1. Set Company information and timezone, then save and reopen the screen to confirm.
  2. Invite team members with the roles needed for their work.
  3. Create lead statuses, lead sources, job types, appointment types, and result reasons.
  4. Configure weekly scheduling slots and capacity.
  5. Add products, vendors, milestone types, and reminder types.
  6. Configure event rules and call queues only after their target statuses and queues exist.

Run one complete journey

A list of saved settings is not enough to verify an account. Test the same path staff will follow.

  1. Create a test prospect with a source, job type, and assigned employee.
  2. Schedule an appointment, assign a salesperson, and check it on the calendar.
  3. Record the appointment result and create a sold job with the correct sale amount.
  4. Add a product cost, payment record, installer, production start date, and milestone.
  5. Create and complete a reminder, then check the lead timeline and relevant reports.
  6. Test messaging to a consenting internal recipient only after the provider is configured.
  7. Verify a staff account can see the records needed for its role.

Bring real data online

Import contacts before jobs. Begin with a small reviewed sample, then reconcile counts and totals before importing the remaining rows. Keep the original export outside the CRM as a recovery reference.

Some services depend on platform configuration: account email delivery, Stripe billing, SMS providers, scheduled automation processing, and AI connections must be verified separately. A saved settings screen does not prove those services are live.
