Set up reminder types
Settings → Reminder Types lets you maintain named categories, display order, and active state. Useful examples include Callback, Quote Follow-up, and Production Check. Keep the list small enough that staff use it consistently.
Create a clear next action
A reminder belongs to a lead and includes a type, assignee, note, and due date/time. Use a specific note such as “Confirm installation access with customer” instead of “Follow up.”
- Step 1: Open the lead’s reminders area and create a reminder.
- Step 2: Choose the type and employee who will handle it.
- Step 3: Set a realistic due date/time and describe the action.
- Step 4: Save and confirm it appears in the Reminders screen.
- Step 5: When finished, complete it; if unnecessary, dismiss it with appropriate context.
Snoozing and overdue work
A snoozed reminder remains unfinished and has a snoozed-until time. Use snooze only when the action is deliberately deferred. Review pending and overdue reminders daily and confirm reassignments when staff are absent.
A reminder record is not a guarantee of an email, text, or push notification. Those channels require separate configured services and scheduled processing.
