Understand what this feature sends
Settings → Speed-to-lead alerts creates internal CRM reminders only. It does not send customer texts, emails, employee SMS. Eligible staff push may accompany internal reminders; delivery depends on preferences, device registration and provider availability. Alerts start off and do not enroll historical leads. After approval, only future eligible new leads with verified website/provider delivery events can enter.
Choose business days, timezone, start/end times, an initial delay and an escalation delay in business minutes. Time pauses outside that schedule; the worker checks approximately once a minute. Overnight hours and a holiday/time-off calendar are not configured here.
Choose responsible people and approve
The assigned salesperson receives the first reminder if they have an active login; a roster-only salesperson cannot receive it, so the fallback is used. Every saved configuration change switches alerts off and clears previous approval. Disable alerts to stop outstanding alert work.
- Step 1: Select an active login user as fallback and an eligible active manager for escalation.
- Step 2: Save draft & keep off.
- Step 3: Preview the saved settings and resolve any blockers.
- Step 4: Open Review, verify the exact schedule and recipients, and explicitly approve only when ready.
Stop an escalation
A recorded human-authored call, text or email recorded as a non-automation staff interaction after intake, completing the first reminder, or acknowledging the alert stops future escalation. Automated welcome messages do not count. The stored interaction must be user-attributed and non-automation; do not assume a direction alone establishes that condition. Acknowledgment records responsibility; it does not claim that a customer was contacted.
Use Recent alerts or Automation activity to inspect progress. Invalid recipients cause the configuration to stop rather than silently route alerts to an unintended person.
Let an assistant prepare the draft
With administrator-authorized contractor workflow access, MCP can read settings, save a disabled draft, preview, request activation review, acknowledge an alert, or pause alerts. request_speed_to_lead_activation returns a human review page; the tool cannot approve or turn alerts on. No preview sends messages or creates reminders.
