Four calendar types
Appointments shows booking times and openings. Sales shows visits by salesperson. Production shows job and milestone scheduling. Service shows service tickets by technician. Select the calendar type first, then a date view offered by your app. A missing calendar may reflect role permissions; it is not evidence a record was deleted.
Role visibility
Administrators and general managers can see all four types and start with Appointments. Sales managers start with Sales; sales staff see Sales. Call-center staff see Appointments and Sales. Production managers start with Production and can see the other types. Installers see Production and Service. Server permissions and assigned records still apply.
Web date views
Appointments offers Day, Work week, Week and Month. Sales and Service also offer Split, Agenda and Timeline. Production offers Day, Work week, Week, Month, Agenda and Timeline. These views change the date/person layout inside the selected calendar, not the underlying record type.
